This essay was written for my first year 'Introduction to Political Theory' module. I was a bit unsure if I had gone astray by writing the entire essay about game theory especially given nothing was spoken about in the relevant lectures regarding it. The only thread I followed was one article in the extensive reading list which panned out to be a risk worth taking. In part this risk was encouraged with my aversion to writing about topics that were blatantly associated to a political domain.
